CASL® Community Guidelines
Treat People with Respect
CASL is a space for surfers of all backgrounds and skill levels. Please treat everyone with kindness and respect, so we can foster a culture of support rather than competition.Keep It Positive & Constructive
Whether online or in person, bring good vibes. Disagreements happen, but keep discussions respectful and solution-oriented. No trolling, hate speech, or negativity.Surfing Is for Everyone
Surfing is about connection—with nature and with each other. Gatekeeping, territorialism, or intimidation won’t be tolerated. Welcome new faces and help others level up.Share Stoke, Not Spam
Self-promotion is cool when it adds value, but spamming or over-soliciting your personal brand is obnoxious. Please contribute more than you promote.Respect the Ocean & the Planet
We’re here because we love the ocean. Keep it clean, be mindful of your impact, and lead by example in sustainability efforts.Safety & Responsibility First
Whether in the water or within the community, look out for each other. If you see someone struggling, help out. Be honest about your skill level and respect surf etiquette.Protect Special Places
Out of respect for local communities and to preserve the magic of lesser-known surf spots, please do not post exact locations, coordinates, or specific directions to surf breaks (please reference our Code of Conduct here).Keep the Stoke Alive
This community is about the joy of surfing and adventure. Celebrate each other’s wins, share epic stories, and keep pushing yourself to explore.
Violating these guidelines may result in a warning or removal from the community. CASL is about respect, camaraderie, and shared passion for the ocean. Let’s keep it that way!
See you on CASL and out in the lineup! 🌊🏄♂️
